Both interfaces are clean, functional, and well-organized list and tab environments, but the proliferation of commands may confuse novice users. The program is actually a suite of four related applications sharing common commands and interface styles. Finding an obvious starting point is difficult, but the comprehensive help file explains many scenarios. The basic gist of 24x7 is creating scripts to run applications and utilities. These can be as simple as starting a virus scan to setting up a computer lab to reset after receiving an e-mail. It supports Visual Basic Scripts for advanced users and includes a macro recorder for those unfamiliar with VB.
